I’ve been slacking off on my posts recently while I focused on work and studying for cloud certifications, but I just got back from a much needed off-grid vacation in the wild Northern California coast and have some renewed motivation.

The most exciting recent news is that I received an acceptance letter from the UIUC Professional Master of Computer Science program. I’m very excited about this opportunity to deepen my knowledge of more advanced topics in computer science. I’m particularly looking forward to courses in applied deep learning, distributed and parallel computing, and advanced Bayesian modeling. I’ll try to make more regular posts once courses begin in January.
